New Wave Electrical - Security System Installation Terms and Conditions

1. Pricing and Services
New Wave Electrical offers the following standard security system installation packages:

  • 4 cameras for $2,500

  • 6 cameras for $3,500

  • 8 cameras for $4,500

  • Additional or other security systems are quoted individually based on client needs.

These prices apply to installations with standard access and typical installation requirements, as determined by New Wave Electrical. Any additional work beyond standard conditions will be addressed under Section 2.

2. Additional Charges
Installations requiring challenging access (e.g., confined spaces, elevated areas, or requiring specialised equipment) or additional requirements (e.g., custom wiring, non-standard configurations, or unforeseen obstacles) will incur extra charges. These will be billed at an hourly rate. Customers will be informed of potential additional costs prior to the commencement of extra work, where feasible.

3. Scope of Work
Standard installation includes [e.g., mounting of cameras, control board, basic wiring, and system testing] under normal conditions. Any work outside this scope, including but not limited to structural modifications, third-party equipment integration, or customer-requested changes, will be considered an additional requirement and billed accordingly.

4. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include [cash, credit card, bank transfer]. A deposit of 50% may be required prior to scheduling your installation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled installation will incur a $200 cancellation fee. Refunds for deposits are not available once work has commenced.

6. Warranty and Liability
New Wave Electrical warrants standard installations against defects in workmanship for 2 years from the completion date. Security Camera and control boards equipment are covered by a Dahua 5 year manufacturers warranty. This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, tampering, or external factors (e.g., power surges, acts of nature). New Wave Electrical is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the installation or use of the security systems.

7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure clear access to installation sites and provide any necessary permissions (e.g., landlord approval, HOA consent). Delays or additional costs due to lack of access or permissions will be billed as per Section 2.

8. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging New Wave Electrical for security system installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
